CP Chronicles // The update

Ever since Bugsy gave me his computer tower, everything became so easy and a wee-bit stress free, its like I'm back to where I was.... I'm home.

I was able to post here random stuff for you guys until one day I remembered I have this part of the blog wherein I just rant and ramble through the use of my phone.

-//-

Was there a time where you can  just remember things you don't want to? Where you can't run away from a memory that keeps haunting you?
I believe that in life your greatest enemy and your best friend is..  You.

You are your own shadow and your own spotlight. If there ever was a time that you just wanna give up, want to think of ending all of this, you have to go back there... I understand that it's frightening because its a very vulnerable part of your existence but I want you to go back and you have to keep asking until you have a satisfying answer. Ask yourself one question and never as in NEVER stop asking..

-Why?-

To be honest, I'm not going to be the person whose gonna tell you artificial advice saying  "Its just you, it'll pass!", "You can do it!", and my most favorite one, "Be yourself".

Be yourself.

A phrase uttered by human beings, a phrase expressed by none yet endlessly spoken by some.

I hate that phrase.
I hate that advice.
I hate that presumption.

Why?
Why not?Being yourself is one of the most flip-sided things you can ever tell a person.
In this world, people will eat you alive,  figuratively.
Society wants you to "be yourself" yet it continuously molds you to become the other, what good does being yourself do?
People will leave you out when you're not like them, but that's what makes one another unique but nooo.
Dress exceptionally, people will think you're crazy,
If we ever try to be ourselves, society stops us.
There's no winning this awful battle.
Bullying still happens my friends. Everyday it's a constant battle happening not only to adults but children alike.
Adults will act as if they're in some sort of competition, their children will see it and will do the same, Parents will fight with other parents alike.
In result,an endless cycle of mischief.

So how do we stop it ?
Unfortunately, I don't know myself.

I hate to end my rant this way but in life there are no fairy tale ending, only mundane finale of yet another chapter.

Life is but a book with a lot of ups and downs, a constant battle where the end is death. You have to keep fighting, you have to keep going, when everything is dull and lifeless, look down at your feet and command it to go infront of the other.

I'll end this rant with a quote my friend said which I liked very much, it goes like this;

The fact that you are "here" means that you will get "there". The only difference between "here" and "there" is the T, which means TIME.
So never give up!

Food Trip // Mongolian BBQ

Ever since I moved to the East side of California, I never thought that I could ever find an affordable all-you-can eat place. Coming from the Central part of Los Angeles, you can find numerous amounts of places to eat. Luckily, on my third month here at Pasadena, I was taken by a friend to Mongolian BBQ (sadly, they don't have an official website, so yelp is the next best thing XP ) The only time I've ever had Mongolian BBQ is at a mall with Bugs. He is obsessed with the thing, so when I told him that I found a place not even 5-minutes away from where I live, he was ecstatic.

The place looks like any other rustic restaurant that can be found around my area

Once inside, you will be seated in one of the booths or chairs located at the place, if it's not that crowded (which has to be either way too early in the morning or way too late after dinner time), you can have the freedom to choose your seat.

The line then starts with the frozen meat section where you can find a lot of meat to choose from. You literally can choose what goes in your food, which is amazing~

Turn to the corner or just simply follow where the line is going, you'll see a section of vegetables ranging from carrots to pineapples, even to bamboo shoots.

Don't forget the noodles!

Last but never the least, put some sauce on your wonderful creation. Yum~

Take your bowl to the window located at the far end of the line,  a chef will then separate your noodles from the others

Twirl it!

VOILA!~
You're done!!!

Bon Appetit~

Seems like Bugs' enjoying himself X))

He actually went back to get more 3x!!
Remember this place is all-you-can-eat!

Would I go back?
  • Most definitely YES, c'mon $10 for something that gives you the liberty to actually know what you want in your food especially the ability for you to see how they cook it? I mean yeah, it is frozen meat but for the price, it really is a gem of a place!

Overall, I'm not much of a food critic but I absolutely love going to new places where I can try something new. Remember this place is an all-you-can eat, therefore, they will serve a lot of extras to make you full right away; so take it easy and enjoy the view while you're at it! :)

Such an eccentric car, I swear >.<

 Thank you for tuning in!
Have a safe and have 4th of July everyone!

Review // Black & Decker Dustbuster Cordless Vacuum Pt.2

I have never done a review before but here we go. This is from my previous post about my purchase which can be found here

This post might be short but I'd rather focus on one thing at a time ... And now, the review;

Pros:
  • very affordable if you're broke as a joke like me
  • its very compact and easy to assemble which makes it very convenient when you're too lazy to clean but wants to get the job done.
  • very easy to clean
  • the filter can be used multiple times in which I think is a blessing.
  • the nozzle can be adjusted or elongated rather which us a very good function if you're trying to clean hard to reach spots.
  • the functionality is very simple as it only has one function -- ON or OFF.
Cons:
  • its gets a tad bit heavy over time and since you're bending down, it gets tiring and makes your back ache.
  • you have to charge it overnight once you first get it before you could be able to use it (not entirely sure if it's the usual norm but that's  a con for me since I wouldn't be able to use it right away!)
  • you have to charge it all the time. The longeviity of the sucker depends on how long its been charged.

Overall: [[  ]]
  • Overall, I knocked two stars out because of the heaviness, but other than that, the price is very forgiving and the ability to clean both hardwood and carpet is impressive.
Would I recommend it?
  • A little bit of Yes and No.
  • Yes, It's very cheap compared to others and can suffice if you have a small room like mine, but if you're thinking for an alternative to an actual size vacuum; I would recommend just getting a full size one if you can afford a few more bucks. Although, the capability of the Black and Decker is phenomenal compared to generic brands plus the brand is quite trusted; I guess it only depends on your taste. °ω°

All-in-all, I'm glad I purchased this product even with all the flaws it comes with, you can't win them all right?
You can easily buy this at any home store and I'm definite that you guys will appreciate the hard work this little sucker is going to offer.

Thanks for tuning in!
